Bob © Gnome with Piglet - 12-1/2" Tall Antique Reproduction

Back in the 1950's, German Stores would commission the gnome manufacturers to make promotional gnomes for them. They would be displayed in the store window to advertise their wares. Bob was made for a butcher shop. Because these special gnomes were not made for general sale they were a rarity even at the time they were made in the 50's. Here at Kimmel Gnomes we celebrate the kind hearted nature of all gnomes and here, Bob is saving the piglet. An exceptional and truly unique gnome.
